VACCINATION CLINIC

Vaccinations protect women and children against certain dangerous infections by producing the immunity.

The EPI schedule of vaccination is given below.

0-4 weeks	BCG
Soon after the completion of       2nd month	DPT&OPV – 1st dose
4th month	DPT&OPV – 2nd dose
6th month	DPT&OPV – 3rd dose
9th month	Measles

In Second Year of Life
18th month	DPT(booster) – 4th dose
	OPV(booster) – 4th dose

 

Pre School-Going Age
On completion of                    3    years	Measles – Rubella (MR)

 

School-Going Age
At School entry                      5    years	OPV(booster) 5th dose DT
In School                           0 - 15 years	aTd(Adult Tetanus – Diphtheria) Rubella

 

Pregnant Women
First Pregnancy	Tetanus Toxoid 1st dose (TT 1 after the 12th week of pregnancy) Tetanus Toxoid  2nd dose (TT 2  6-8 weeks after the first dose)
Subsequent Pregnancies	Tetanus Toxoid for the subsequent Three Pregnancies (TT 3, TT 4, TT 5)

 

Females in the Child Bearing Age
15 – 44 years	Rubella
